Resurrection is the concept of returning to life after death and is the ability to revive oneself or others after death. Often, characters can do one or the other, not both, but others can do both. The limits of this ability vary from one fantasy to another and from one character to another; Some may only be able to revive those who have recently died, while others may be able to bring back those who have been dead for some time, even if nothing remains. The mechanisms are different as well
