Golem (Etrian Odyssey)
Mysterious man-made construct that comes alive to attack whatever draws near.
~ The Bestiary

Character Synopsis[]

The Golem is a magically animated structure, presumably man-made according to it's official descriptions. It has a vaguely humanoid shape and resembles the shape of a knight. It is frequently the first optional boss encountered in the game, but even though it was initially a normal quest boss in Etrian Odyssey, in later games it became a postgame boss. The Golem is known to be lacking in agility but compensates for it with its amazing endurance and raw power.

Character Statistics[]

Tiering: High 6-A | 2-C

Verse: Etrian Odyssey

Name: Golem

Gender: None (The Golem lacks any definitive gender and is just a man-made construct)

Age: Unknown (Was suggested to have been made a long time ago, however the time is disclosed)

Classification: Monster, Man-Made Construct, Guardian

Special Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Light Manipulation (Flash creates a blinding light, allowing users to alter the vision of their opponent and make it harder for them to see), Statistics Amplification (Golem has several abilities that can raise his power, such as Power of Stone and Rock Soul. Can raise his defense through Power Wall and Force Wall), Weapon Mastery (Can utilize heavy weapons such as hammers and presumably axes, given a component of it is used to create axes), Regeneration (High-Mid; The Golem can regenerate parts of it's body, even if it's blown to pieces. This includes being reduced to rocks), Resurrection (If Regen is active, Golem can resurrect themselves and continue fighting as if nothing happened), Barrier Creation (Reflect creates a powerful barrier that prevents attacks from breaching it and harming Golem), Earth Manipulation (Capable of utilizing earth-based attacks)

Destructive Ability: Multi-Continent Level (Implied to be a construct that is intended to combat threats to the world, including The Elemental Dragons. Golem is often portrayed as an early boss, thus should be comparable to the early game party) | Multi-Universe Level (Capable of taking on the post game party of Etrian Odyssey II & III, such as Sovereign)

Speed: Unknown, likely Massively FTL (Lore portrays Golem as one of the slowest monsters in Etrian Odyssey, despite this, Golem is capable of dodging attacks from the early game party) | Immeasurable (Can take on the post game party of Etrian Odyssey II & III, such as Sovereign)

Lifting Ability: Class 10 (Per nature of it's size and it's material, it would weigh this much at least)

Striking Ability: Multi-Continent Class (Likely able to contend with The Elemental Dragons and has fought the early game party) | Multi-Universal (Can deal massive damage to classes such as Sovereign and the post game party of Etrian Odyssey II & III)

Durability: Multi-Continent Level (Materials made of it's body are made to tank the Meteor Axe, indicating that Golem can handle attacks on it's level of power. Treated as being one of the most durable characters in the verse, besides the deities. Can survive blows from the early game party) | Multi-Universe Level (Can endure hits from the post game party of Etrian Odyssey II & III, such as being able to survive attacks from classes like Sovereign)

Stamina: Limitless (Golem is unable to tire nor shows any signs of doing so. Capable of functioning for seemingly endless amounts of time, just to guard particular areas and only stops when the threat has been eliminated or they leave the area)

Range: Standard Melee Range normally, Extended Melee Range with weapons such as Hammers and Axes. several meters with attacks

Intelligence: Average (The Golem is shown to possess basic knowledge and is generally focused more on protecting the area's it's created to preserve)

Weaknesses: The Golem is noted as being slow, one of the slowest enemies in the series (albeit, it's also said it's durability makes up for it)
