Death Sensei
Everyone dies in the end, Mori. We ARE the end. We do NOT make friends with the ones we bring across The River
~ Death-Sensei to Mori Calliope

Character Synopsis[]

Death (also known as Death Sensei) is an entity that exists in Hololive, being the one who takes lives when their time is up and sends them on the path of The River Styx to completely die. Like Calli, he is an extension of "The End" and serves to uphold the natural balances of life and death itself but unlike Calli, he's much more skilled at it than her and thus is considered her "master" in this regard. Not much is known about Death himself other than he takes his job very seriously and is seemingly more detached than Calli is to humanity but it is noted that he is the same death that has appeared to Greeks and across many different histories

Character Statistics[]

Tiering: 1-A | 1-A

Verse: Hololive

Name: Death (also known as "Death-Sensei" or "The Grim Reaper"), The End

Gender: Male

Age: Primordial (Existed since the beginning of life itself and is the total opposite of nature, which has came about at the beginning of the universe)

Classification: Embodiment of Death, Grim Reaper, "The End"

Special Abilities:

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Abstract Existence (Death is the concept of "Death, existing as a pure concept that serves to end all things considered living and is a piece of the wholeness of "The End"), Soul Manipulation (Regularly guides and can influence souls, being able to control them at will), Existence Erasure (Stated that she can erase souls from a plane of existence), Existence Erasure (Stated that she can erase souls from a plane of existence), Non-Corporeal (Death naturally exist as ideas and beings without physical existence), Large Size (Type 10; Death exists beyond the multiverse and see it as insignificant), Higher-Dimensional Manipulation (Death, due to being comparable to The Council, can interact with and even control higher dimensions), Avatar Creation (Death is capable of manifesting avatars to interact with the lower ordered multiverse), Immortality (Type 1, 5 & 8; Explicitly stated to lack a concept of life and thus is bound by the cycle of life & death. So long the concept of "Death" remains in existence, so too will Death), Acausality (Non-Linearity; Exists beyond standard cause and effect principles, being outside the influence of Kronii), Possession (It's shown that The Council can possess and operate each other's avatars), Non-Physical Interaction (Capable of interacting with souls, shadows and even immaterial objects such as emotions like malice), Regeneration (High-Godly; Scales to V-Tubers like Uruha Rushia and Sakura Miko, whom of which could come back after being turned into a Tetris block and reduced to nothing. Korone is capable of coming back after being immediately erased by Mio and she even claimed she could erase Subaru, a metaphysical being who is a living thought. Aqua could regenerate despite her body being gone and her soul being crushed by Kanata), Acausality (Non-Linearity; Comparable to V-Tubers, who experience time and causality differently from normal beings; In Hololive, both causality and time is experienced in a fashion where past, present and future doesn't occur linearly and paradoxes result in splitting of timelines, preventing casual paradoxes), Pocket Reality Manipulation (Has control over The Underworld and also governs it), Law Manipulation (Established the laws that The Underworld follows, with it being that everyone who enters die) and all the abilities of Mori Calliope, including V-Tuber abilities

All previous abilities but vastly stronger; Acausality (Paracausality; Exists beyond the concept of time {which includes causality within Hololive} and is unbound by the laws and concepts that comprise the multiverse), Nonexistent Physiology (Physical; Being apart of The Collective Unconsciousness would mean one inhabits a nature akin to a "white void" similarly to lesser Realm of The Gods) and Abstract Existence (Exists as an underlying archetype, a universal motif and image in which gave rise to the gods and myths that exist within the world)

Destructive Ability: Metaverse Level (Exists as the concept of "Death", embodying the general wholeness of "The End" equally as much as Mori Calliope and thus is also equal to Ceres Fauna, whom of which is their conceptual opposition as the concept of life itself) | Metaverse Level (Exists as an archetype, a universal image in which governs reality and is a unit of the true state of The Realm of The Gods, The Collective Unconsciousness. The scope of The Collective Unconscious is likely beyond that of the true selves of The Council considering their existence are just byproducts of said universal motifs that predated creation. Seeing as "archetypes" in the context of the verse are 1:1 with Jungian Archetypes and thus would inherit the basic attributes of platonic forms, this would imply that The Collective Unconsciousness supersedes The Realm of The Gods)

Speed: Nigh-Omnipresent (Exists as the concept of death across all realities in the multiverse, also existing as the reaper who appears to those dying at many places at once) | Nigh-Omnipresent (Exists as an underlying archetype, a series of images and patterns that pervade creation and resides deep within The Collective Unconsciousness)

Lifting Ability: Immeasurable (Comparable to Sana, who's existence is that of dimensionality and physics itself, meaning her lifting strength is undefinably vast by our standards) | Irrelevant (Beyond the likes of Tsukumo Sana and is on a deeper level than that of The Realm of The Gods)

Striking Ability: Metaversal (Exists as the conceptual opposite of Ceres Fauna and is conceptually no different from Mori Calliope, with both embodying "the end") | Metaversal (Exists beyond the scope of Tsukumo Sana and the rest of The Council, extending beyond even The Collective Unconsciousness that supersedes The Realm of The Gods)

Durability: Metaverse Level (Should be on par with Ceres Fauna, whom of which is her opposite conceptually. Equal in durability to his pupil, due to being conceptually equal in embodying "The End" as a idea) | Metaverse Level (Exists as an underlying image and archetype that makes up a part of The Collective Unconsciousness that supersedes The Realm of The Gods)

Stamina: Limitless (Death is constantly reaping souls and does so without little rest. Has no conventional exist of life and this includes stamina, of which she dismisses as a human thing)

Range: Irrelevant (Manages the cycle of life and death across the multiverse, alongside governing the flow of souls that originate from various worlds. Capable of effecting The Void) | Irrelevant (Exists on a deeper level than even The Realm of The Gods and can effect The Collective Unconsciousness)

Intelligence: Very High (Treated as a much more smarter and competent individual than Mori Calliope is, especially when it comes to reaping as he is her master in that regard)

Weaknesses: None Notable

Version: Death-Sensei | Archetype

Other Attributes[]

List of Equipment: His Scythe and Flail

Extra Info: Hololive has a very loose definition of canon and it is noted that crossovers with the brand are considered canon, with many events referencing events that occur within Hololive and vice versa for Hololive, the worlds they interact with. This means that feats and stuff that happen there are applicable to V-Tubers overall.
