Character Synopsis[]
Flowey the Flower is one of the main antagonists in Undertale. He appears first at the very beginning of the game, offering Frisk help to adapt to his new environment. He teaches Frisk about LOVE and how it's shared through bullets "friendliness pellets". However, Flowey's friendly facade quickly drops, making way for his cruel disposition and "kill or be killed" philosophy. Frisk is soon saved from this encounter by Toriel, though that is certainly not the last time Flowey reared his head.
Character Statistics[]
Tiering: 9-B, can potentially become 9-A | At least 2-C, likely 2-B | 2-B
Verse: Undertale
Name: Flowey The Flowey, Asriel Dreemurr (In his previous life)
Gender: Male; Still refers to himself as male as a flower
Age: Unknown, Flowey was a preteen when he passed as Asriel Dreemurr. It's implied Flowey has lived for countless ages, given he's experimented with the timeline so much, he knows almost every variable
Classification: Soulless Being, Living Flower | God, Destroyer of The Timeline
Special Abilities:
Superhuman Physical Characteristics (Their levels of Determination gaves Flowey superhuman abilities and allow them to achieve things atypical of their age), Determination (Flowey was injected with "Determination", a force that is in itself, an expression of one's will to live), Time Manipulation (The ability to SAVE & LOAD allows users to create SAVE POINTS and LOAD back to different parts of the timeline), Resurrection (Determination allows users to come back to life through ressurecting themselves; Can achieve this through LOADing as well), Causality Manipulation, History Manipulation (Determination can rewrite all progress made in a timeline, resetting the timeline and it's inhabitants to how were at that point of time; This can even null other users of DT, whom of which are already immune to paradoxes), Statistics Amplification, Reactive Power Level (Determination increases the power of users, allowing them to become as strong as their foes; This has allowed Frisk to fight with opponents such as Photoshop Flowey), Time Paradox Immunity (Determination users aren't effected by RESETs in the timeline, being able to remember past events that were rewritten from the timeline, which is further reaffirmed by Undyne), Power Nullification (Strong users of Determination can overwrite any other user of Determination, given if they are weaker), Danmaku (can create "Friendless Pellets"), Plant Manipulation
- Resistance to Soul Manipulation (Immunity), Resistance to Empathic Manipulation (Lacks a SOUL and thus, the ability to feel compassion of any kind and thus compassion, although fear of death was able to be manifested by Chara, much to his surprise), Heat Manipulation (Capable of resisting temperatures of up to 9000 degrees Fahrenheit, as he followed Frisk in Hotlands)
All previous abilities but unfathomably more powerful (still having the friendless pellets, he has enhanced plant manipulation, such as: cactus balls with mouths, vine hands, and Venus fly traps), Information Manipulation (Has the power to control the very game files that make up the game, including its data), Fire Manipulation (Able to fire streams of fire through its attached flamethrowers), Animal Manipulation (Has control over flies and can suck them in as attacks), Creation (Made several timelines just to save over them, of which he made to torture Frisk), Absorption (In the form of absorbing other souls to increase his power), Matter Manipulation (created bombs, finger gun blast, and X-shaped projectiles), Energy Manipulation (Capable of projecting beams of energy), Can send the Human SOULs to attack.
Energy Manipulation (Through Chaos Buster, Asriel is capable of firing energy blasts and even beams of pure magical energy), Fire Manipulation (Inherited from his parents, Asriel can manipulate flames in the form of projecting them for attacks), Lightning Manipulation (Chaos Shocker creates bolts of thunder that instantly pierces the defences of those hit by it), Void Manipulation (Purged the entire timeline clean, reducing it to nonexistence), Absorption (Capable of attacking the soul of an opponent and can absorb them to increase his own power), Memory Manipulation (Gradually makes the timeline forget about Frisk as the die), All abilities inherited from the Lost Souls, which includes: Bone Manipulation, Gravity Manipulation (Inherited by Sans), Explosion Manipulation (Inherited by Mettaton)
Destructive Ability: Wall Level (Managed to cripple an early-game Frisk, who is able to fight low-level monsters that downscale from this feat), can potentially become Small Building Level (Flowey's power can grow based on LV, which grow strong enough to kill everyone in the underground at several resets) | Multi-Universe Level (Overpowered Frisk's save and undid all progress starting them back at point zero, Created at least four Saves during his battle with Frisk which are considered entire timelines by virtue of being copies of the original timeline and being constructs that record moments in the space-time continuum), likely Multiverse Level (Is implied to be much stronger than Chara) | Multiverse Level (His stats are described as being "Infinite", which makes him vastly superior to the likes of Photoshop Flowey and likely Chara, the latter of which can destroy the entire multiverse comprised of likely countless timelines on the basis that Flowey has reset the timeline {Which creates several timelines} so many times that he is aware of every variable and possibility sans Frisk. Is capable of destroying the "The World" which consistently refers to the entire games cosmology)
Speed: Unknown (Though he was shown to be able to travel to pretty much anywhere in the Underground whenever he desired, first appearing in the Ruins, following Frisk through their journey, constantly appearing to Papyrus in Snowdin, and finally appearing in the passageway leading out of the Underground.) | Infinite (Capable of battling in a destroyed timeline and casually created many save files despite no timeline being present) | Infinite (Despite erasing the entire timeline, Asriel could freely move, act and fight against Frisk. Scales to Omega Flowey, who's vastly inferior, whom of which could fight in a void left over after he destroyed all of reality)
Lifting Ability: N/A normally, up to Superhuman with Vines (Capable of keeping elevator doors shut) | Unknown | Unknown
Striking Ability: Wall Cass | Multi-Universal, likely Multiversal | Multiversal
Durability: Unknown (Can endure hits from Toriel, albeit, it's unknown if she was fully serious or not. Has fought and killed everyone in the underground, including Sans) | Multi-Universal, likely Multiverse Level (Completely unable to be significantly harmed by Frisk until the six souls began to aid them) | Multiverse Level
Stamina: Unknown | Infinite | Infinite
Range: Several Meters normally, Universal via resets and determination | Multiversal
Intelligence: Nigh-Omniscient (Flowey has lived out nearly every possible outcome of the underground. He knows how to outsmart pretty much everyone, that is until Frisk came along (who seems to be a variable he can never pin down). Shown to be clever and cunning, also having combat experience)
Weaknesses: Similar to Frisk, should Flowey gives up, this can result in a result in a Reset much earlier than the last SAVE. Those who possess stronger Determination have the potential to nullify another weaker Determination user. | Does not have full control over the six souls which power him, and someone who is as determined as Frisk was able to make them leave his body. | Tends to underestimate his opponent and start using only a fraction of his powers upon encountering him. A determined and compassionate soul can reach out to him and bring back his memories.
