Character Synopsis
Aoi Mukou is one of the three main protagonists of Kimi to Kanojo to Kanojo no Koi. A classmate of Shinichi and Miyuki’s, her brain is full of nothing but games. Going beyond casual jokes and spouting dated memes like other VN savvy characters, there’s something inherently destructive about the way she has to liken everything in their lives to a VN. Poor at socializing, both Shinichi and Miyuki feel like she’s unable to draw a line between reality and VNs, having them seamlessly merge. She initially starts her life off as a normal human, who is eventually killed by Miyuki Sone in a fit a rage and jealously. She would be brought back many times but her biggest change is in the true ending. In this ending, Aoi loses her physical existence and now exists as a personified idea, being every heroine in Nitroplus's expanded multiverse. Now, Aoi essentially exists in some form across different visual novels and is akin to a bug, a glitch that manifests itself in other game worlds.
