And it was said onto them that this was the price to be paid

A complex unending, but arid beyond all measure

In despair, they wept Not in sorrow but bitterness

The avarice of their blind promise

~ The Angel

Character Synopsis[]

The Angel is a character from _ Boisvert, an online web series that incorporates elements of an "alternate reality game" into it. Their first appearance was in "I_Met_A_Beautiful_Angel" where they appeared as a centipede-like creature who was seen communicating with The Quilled God regarding the nature of sin. The entity would continue to appear across many different videos, taking a more humanoid void that resembles a featureless human with a realistic mouth, with it eventually losing it's face after The Room takes it's power, which seems to reveal an eldritch "realm" behind it's mask

The motifs of The Angel are unknown but it's revealed to us that it's the narrator of _ Boisvert and it's shown to be in contact with many notable figures across the series. It's believed to be the one who created "The Complex" in order to help Ouriel cope with their depression and it would seem that The Angel is somewhat antagonistic to Ouriel considering they gave The Room, a manifestation of his dark thoughts, power in order to defeat The Complex

Durability: High Multiverse Level+ (The Angel's level of existence is beyond that of "The Complex", a metaphysical structure that contains several "systems" within it's confines, which are infinite sized universes that are akin to games)

Stamina: Infinite (The Angel seemingly has no need to rest, sleep or requires any natural functions to exist normally)

Range: High Multiversal+ (Capable of effecting reality beyond "The Complex", in which it's seen as a projection on a screen in relation to The Angel and the higher world he exists within, with "The Complex" being merely a program on a computer in relation and easily edited by those of said higher layer of existence)

Intelligence: High (The Angel is depicted as an intelligent and cunning individual who is able to create entire worlds just so individuals can cope with their trauma)
